All you have to do is open the file or files you want to work on, so that it loads up on the timeline. Then split the recording into several parts, delete those those you don't want to keep and rearrange the rest if necessary.

The program features automatic scene and keyframe detection, as well as a snapshot tool to capture still images from the video. The whole process is quite fast and surprisingly easy, even for a video editing newbie. It could have been done more comfortable with a wider timeline though.

Once you have all the parts you want to keep, select the target format and click the "Remake now!" button. AVS Video ReMaker will build a new video from the selected parts, joining them again in a new unique file. Apart from the splitting and removing tools, there's really not much else you can do with your videos.
